Bridie specialises in composing for community groups, and particularly enjoys working on theatre projects.
Recent works include: Let Our Children Be Born Into Peace, a special commission for a commemorative concert in November 2018, to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War,'Between Two Rivers', a choral piece written collaboratively as part of an intergenerational songwriting project in Northumberland, 'The River Keeper,' for Streetwise Opera Company, a charity who use music to support people affected by homelessness; and 'Final Lullaby,' a choral piece commissioned by the Theatre Company, Curious Monkey for Newcastle City Council's Holocaust Memorial Day Commemorative Event. Bridie's work has also been used for other projects, including a promotional video for Key Change, a play by the award winning theatre company, Open Clasp.
