LET OUR CHILDREN BE BORN INTO PEACE
This choral piece has been commissioned by Darlington Sing Community Choir for a special commemorative concert in November 2018, to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War.
It examines how the enduring impact of war can ripple through generations and effect everyday lives and communities even in peace time.

This choral piece was composed for Newcastle City Council's Holocaust Memorial Day commemoration, to be sung as part of Paddy Campbell's play One Small Case, and also by several community and school choirs. The song was inspired by the incredible story of the Kindertransport, a rescue mission set up just before to outbreak of the second World War to get children at risk out of Nazi-occupied areas.
The River Keeper was commissioned by Streetwise Opera, a charity that uses music and performance to support people affected by homelessness. This piece was the first of the company's mini opera season, a new project that incorporated the company members' stories and experiences into the production.
