Bridie Jackson and The Arbour are a trio of folk-influenced musicians, creating what have been described as 'works of haunting beauty, both sparse and detailed'.
Having won the 2013 Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition, the band have played live sessions for radio's Dermot O'Leary, Tom Robinson, In Tune and Loose Ends, gaining support from the likes of Lauren Laverne, Guy Garvey, Steve Lamacq and The Telegraph.
Supported by awards from Help Musicians UK and City Music Foundation, the band's latest album, New Skin, was released in 2014. With new support from PRSF Women in Music, Bridie Jackson and The Arbour are currently working on new material for their next release.
"Refreshing, unpretentious and movingly soulful..."
"Bridie and her Arbour are a midnight dark, yet airily bright breath of fresh folkish air..."
