Bridie Jackson plays as part of the duo Brick with viola player Nick Pierce. They started making music together during the first Lockdown of 2020, and they now write and produce ‘dreamy acoustic music’ with the occasional synth from their home (The Brick House) in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Brick perform their music live at gigs and venues across the North of England. They self produce and self release their music to critical acclaim, their single Blanket of Love was rated ‘Demo of the Month’ in NARC magazine in August 2023 and it received radio play on BBC Introducing Radio Newcastle.

Brick also produce soundtracks for contemporary dance and theatre productions, on a commission basis. In July 2023, Brick were commissioned by The Customs House Theatre (South Shields) to create the soundtrack for a dance production of The Little Prince, which fused song, acoustic, electronic, ambient and folk influences.
